Bandhani is a village located in the central part of the Charotar region of
Gujarat. It is in the Petlad Taluk of
Kheda District. Agriculture is the major occupation of the people. About 1800 hectors of land is cultivated. Tobacco, bajra, potato, banana and lemon are cultivated. About 68% of the people are educated. Majority of the people belong to the Patidar community. The other communities living here include
Brahmin, Suthar, Panchal, Valand,
Punjabi,
Harijan, Thakore, Rabari and Muslims. The village has several small scale industries and numerous temples.
