Balmiki Basti is a place associated with
Mahatma Gandhi at
New Delhi. The basti consists of a room in which Gandhi stayed, a Balmiki temple and a small ground. Mahatma Gandhi stayed here for 216 days in 1946-47. It is also known as Bhangi Basti and Gandhi's Basti.
