Balle Da Bagh, the mazaar of Baba Faiz Baksh Syed Bukhari, is a 450-old-year shrine located on the right side of the Akhnoor-Jourian road in
Jammu District and is 4 km from
Akhnoor.
Though the shrine appears like any ordinary mazaar, it has a special place in the minds of the local populace. A popular belief among the village folk is that a victim of dog-bite, who does seven rounds (parikramas) of the mazaar inside the room and seven outside the room, would be freed from all fears of contacting hydrophobia. The mazaar is visited by people of all faiths and religion from far and near.
