Balighai

Balighai is on the way to Basudebpur in Midnapore District. The ancient town of Egra is around 10 km to its west.

From here, one can visit places such as Kanthi , Depal, Gopalpur and Digha.

Digha Beach, Syamaleswar Temple, Radha-Benode Temple and Sarbhuj Mandir are other points of tourist interest.

Airport close to the town is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. Contai Road Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
