Bajramath Temple

Bajramath Temple is located at Gyaraspur in Vidisha District of Madhya Pradesh. Gyaraspur is about 64 km north-east of Bhopal.

The temple consists of three shrines or cells placed side by side. From the sculptures placed on the door frames and niches on the basement, it is clear that once the temple sheltered the Hindu Trinities. The central shrine was dedicated to Surya, the southern to Lord Vishnu and the northern to Lord Shiva.

These shrines are now occupied by Jain idols belonging to the Digambara sect. The carvings found on the entrance are remarkably fine and vigorous. Shikhara of the temple presents an imposing sight in its plan and design.

Nearest railhead is the Vidisha Railway Station .
