Bajak




Bajak is a historic village, one of the renowned religious centers in Bathinda District, about 30 km south-west of Bathinda.

Associated with Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, the main attraction of Bajak is the Gurdwara Patshahi 10. Guru Gobind Singh had stayed at Bajak in 1706. The gurdwara is noted for its size and attracts thousands of devotees. The main sanctum is flat roofed. There are many rooms including an 8 m square divan hall. Every new moon day, special congregations and prayers are held here. This gurdwara celebrates all major Sikh anniversaries with fervor.
