Bai Harir Tomb is located on the north-eastern part of
Bai Harir Mosque in
Ahmedabad. It is associated with Bai Harir, one of the women of Sultan Begara’s harem.
The entrance of the Bai Harir Tomb faces towards the south. The mausoleum contains a tomb chamber on a square plan with a huge semi-circular dome. This is surrounded by low corridors with four small domes. The openwork sculptures employed on the basement of the corridors and the bottom of the mausoleum are those of plants and geometric patterns, which shows traits of Gujarati art.
