Baghsar Lake is an ideal tourist spot in the
Poonch District. Surrounded by small rocky hills, it is situated at an elevation of 975 m above sea-level in the Samahni valley. This four mile long sheet of crystal clear water lake with its scenic and peaceful atmosphere attracts a large number of people. Nearby the lake lies a huge four-storied fort on the top of a hill overlooking the lake. There also lies another lake, locally called as the Sar, which has a length of nearly half kilometer soothing the senses of the visitors.
