Baddhal Kotla




Baddhal Kotla is a historic village in Punjab located about 4 km north-west of Kiratpur in Rupnagar District. Tradition has it that Guru Hargobind, the sixth Sikh Guru, had sanctified this village with his presence.

Main attraction of this village is an ancient gurdwara known as Jhira Sahib located close to an old well, which is believed to have been dug by the guru himself. This Gurdwara, popularly known as Khuh Sahib, was built in 1945. Gurdwara Kiratpur Sahib is the nearby attraction.

Kiratpur Sahib Railway Station is the major railway station and Chandigarh Airport is the nearest airport.
