Founded in 1997-98, B T L Institute of Technology and Management is affiliated to both Bangalore University and
Visveswaraiah Technological University. It is situated in the eastern part of Bangalore metropolitan city, in the midst of huge industrial estates.
The institute offers courses leading to Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical Engineering, and Information Science. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. The institute has a good sports field suitable for playing cricket, football, and volley ball.
