Ayya Swami Temple is situated at
Thycaud in Thiruvananthapuram District. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Shiva. The temple was built in memory of Thycaud Ayya Swamikal, the first and the greatest social reformer of Kerala. He was the Guru of
Sree Narayana Guru, Chattambi Swamigal and Ayyankali. The deity was installed in 1943 at the Samadhi place of the Ayya Swami. The renovation works were done under the patronage of Sri Chithira Thirunal Maharaja. Sri Ayya Gurukulam and Sri Ayya Gurudevashramam are also near to the temple.
