Astrologer's Seat, a kiosk, is an open structure, 3 m square, located in
Fatehpur Sikri. During the reign of emperor
Akbar, the Hindu astrologers and Muslim munajjims used to frequent this place. The emperor used to seek advice from these astrologers before taking any major decisions.
Deserving people used to be distributed coins at this place under the supervision of the emperor. All four openings of the Astrologer's Seat are adorned with decorative arches which show influences of Jain architecture.
