Astachandi Temple is located in
Puri. As the name indicates, here the temple enshrines the idols of eight Chandis, the various forms of mother goddesses. They are collectively called as Astachandi and include Bata Mangala, Bimala, Sarvamangal, Ardhasani, Alamba, Dakshinakalika, Marichika and Harachandi.
