Assagao




Assagao is the smallest and well laid out village of Bardez taluk in North Goa District. The village is gifted with natural beauty and lies between green hills clothed in caju groves. Assagao is ideal hide out from the hustle and bustle of Mapusa town.

The water of Dossa-zor spring at Assagao has the capacity to heal rheumatism and eye problems. Abolim grows here in plenty. The Church of St Cajetan's in Assagao is architecturally similar with St Alex in Calangute. Assagao is around 10 km west of Mapusa.

Anjuna Beach and Vagator Beach are west of Assagao.
