Asna is located about 5 km south of Simlapal in West Bengal’s Bankura District. Panchmura, one of the principal centers of Bankura pottery, is located 15 km towards the north-east. The town of Lakshmisagar is also located nearby. Other towns in the neighborhood include Sarenga to the south, Humgarh to the east and Ranibandh to the west.
