Ashta

Ashta, also called Ashta Kasar, is a sacred place located 60 km away from Solapur and 50 km from Osmanabad, in Osmanabad District, Maharashtra. Ashta is just 5 km off the National Highway 9.

This place is named after a highly revered medieval Jain temple (500 years old), Kasar Teerth. It is dedicated to Lord Parshvanath.

The historic fort of King Nal is a tourist spot nearby.
