Asadeepam is a rehabilitation center for mentally disabled and a residential school for special education. It is managed by the Santhimargam Social Welfare Service Society. The center offers development oriented scientific special education, physical training, vocational training and residential care to the inmates. The institution is now functioning in a building inside the Medicinal Plants Cultivation and Research Centre at
Kalamasserry in
Ernakulam.
