Arulmigu Thandayuthapani Temple




Arulmigu Thandayuthapani Temple is an ancient shrine located at Chettikulam, in Perambalur District of Tamil Nadu. Built by King Kulasekhara Pandian, about 500 years ago, the temple reflects the architecture splendor of a bygone era. The temple enshrines Lord Murugaas the presiding deity.

The annual Panguni Uthram Festival celebrated here in March-April for 14 days is a major draw attended by thousands of devotees from far and near. Various cultural programs are conducted as part of the festival.

Arulmigu Thandayuthapani Temple is about 22 km from Perambalur and 8 km west of Alathur gate in Tiruchirapalli-Chennai National Highway 45.
