Arulmigu Kasthuri Aranganatha Swamy Temple was built on the banks of the
Cauvery about 2500 years ago. The temple is dedicated to
Lord Brahma and the statue is made of the precious
salagram. During the Tamil month of Purataasi, a ten day festival
Brahmotsavam is conducted.
