Arjuneshwar is a beautiful shrine situated about 10 km to the west of
Pithoragarh, in
Uttaranchal. It is situated on top of a hill at a height of about 6,000 ft above sea level. The temple enshrines
Lord Shiva as the presiding deity.
Arjuneshwar is believed to have been built by Arjuna - the greatest warrior in the epic Mahabharata.
