Ariyannoor Temple is an ancient shrine situated at
Ariyannur (also Ariyannoor) near Kandanisserry in
Thrissur District of
Kerala. The temple is also known by the name Harikanyaka Temple.
The temple is believed to have been built in the 14th century. The major attraction is its carved entrance, which is compared to the wooden sculptures of American artist Louise Nevelson.
Kodakkallu (burial grounds with umbrella stones) and Munimada are nearby important sites. Ariyannur is around 5 km from Guruvayoor.
