Sanchi, Archeological Museum is managed by Archeological Survey of India. It houses numerous excavated articles, popular of them being Ashoka Pillar, the image of
Buddha, several
Bodhisattvas and early period statues of
Ganesh and Mahishasuramardini. Most of the exhibits here date back to 3rd century BC.
