Aranghata

Aranghata is located in Nadia District, near the eastern banks of the Churni River, one of the major river basins of the southern West Bengal. It is around 70 km north of Kolkata and 9 km north of Ranaghat. Bagula to the north, Hijuli to the south, Fulia to the east and Krishnanagar to the north-west are the neighboring places. Navadvipa, Candudegrama, Yasada Grama and Palapada are the nearby attractions. The nearest airport and railway station are Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Ranaghat Junction Railway Station respectively.
