A small settlement, Arachalur lies in
Erode District of
Tamil Nadu. It sprawls over an area of around 24 sq km. Arachalur is surrounded by the neighboring towns such as Vadugapatti in the east,
Chennimalai in the west, Avalpoondurai in the north and Kollankoil in the south-east.
The Noyyal River, a tributary of the Cauvery, flows through the town. Nearby interesting spot is Chennimalai Temple.
C A Coimbatore Airport is the nearest airport. Ingur Railway Station serves Arachalur. By road, Arachalur can be accessed from Erode and Kangayam.
