Ara

Ara is a small village in Latehar District of Jharkhand. It is situated on the district border and is an ideal place for nature lovers. Toti, Chakla, Keri, Dumara, Nindra, are some of the places close by.

Latehar, around 15 km north of Chandwa, is easily accessible from here. Palamu Tiger Reserve and Kanti Waterfalls are excellent choices for tourists. Balumath and Chandwa are the nearest major towns.

Ara can be accessed by local buses and taxies from Balumath and Chandwa. Ranchi Airport and Tori Railway Station are the nearest major access points.
