Anwa Temple




Anwa Temple is a 12th century shrine situated at Anwa, on the main road leading from Aurangabad to Ajanta Caves, in Maharashtra. The presiding deity here is Lord Shiva.

Anwa Temple features magnificently carved sculptures and decorated pillars. The niches have exquisitely sculpted images of Lord Vishnu and Lord Ganesh.

Ajanta Caves is about 20 km from here.
