Anup Talao, also called Peerless Pool, is located in Khwabgah Complex near Diwan-I-Aam at
Agra. This red sandstone tank consists of a beautiful platform in the middle, which is attached to narrow bridges. Famous musician
Tansen used to play music from this platform.
History says that Akbar performed his obligatory prayers five times near Anup Talao. He also gave interviews at Anup Talao. It is also said that the pool was filled with gold, copper and silver coins, which was distributed by Jahangir.
