Annie Besant Park is a beautiful stretch of greenery jammed between two arterial roads in
Kochi, the commercial and industrial capital of
Kerala. It offers a sight of great quiet and dignity as one travels by bus from down Boat Jetty to Menaka in
Ernakulam.
Maintained by Kochi Refineries, this park is definitely a sight both by day and by night. It has a variety of plants laden with fruits and flowers, providing the perfect environment for a picnic. A little fountain here also adds to its charm. Close to this park are the Rajendra Maidan and the Subash Park.
