Anna Nagar Ayyappan Temple




Anna Nagar Ayyappan Temple is a sacred place situated at Anna Nagar in Chennai. The presiding deity is Lord Ayyappa. Sub shrines for Ganesh, Muruga, Durga, Anjaneya, Navagrahas and Nagaraja are seen inside the temple. The Anna Nagar temple is visited by a large number of Sabarimala pilgrims. The nadamandapam in the temple is the venue for bhajans and discourses. The popular festivals celebrated by the temple are Panguni Uthiram, Pratishta Dinam, Ram Navami, Skanda Shasti, Vinayaka Chaturthi and Navratri.
