Anjaneri is a hill fort in the
Igatpuri region of the
Sahyadris. Anjani temple, Dutta temple, and Sita Gumpha are the main attractions here. A small lake is found on the top. It is believed as the birth place of lord
Hanuman. From Mule village, a trek route is followed to reach the top.
