A charming village, Andretta spreads below the thickly wooded hill and sprawling plains of
Kangra Valley in
Kangra District. It is about 13 Km south of
Palampur.
The famous artist S Sobha Singh and playwright Ms Norah Richards lived here for several years. The place encompasses a gallery where their notable works are exhibited. There are artifacts that date back to the 5th century. Now Andretta is a center for various artistic activities such as pottery.
