Andhakesam Temple

Andhakesam Temple is located to the west of Kanchipuram, in Thirupputkuli village. The presiding deities are Manikandeeshwarar (Andaleshwarar) and Tripurasundari. Belief is that, Lord Vairavar (a holy form of Lord Shiva) destroyed the demon Andhagasuran, and danced in this holy place.

Andhakesam Temple is at the southern corner of Baluchettichattiram bus stop, on the road that leads to Musaravaakkam. The nearest airport is the Chennai International Airport and Arakkonam Junction Railway Station is the prominent railway station.
