Ancestral Goa is one of the major tourist attractions of Goa. Spread over an area of nine acres, this is a recreated village with life size structures and statues. Ancestral Goa lies on the slope of a lush green hill in Loutolim, at a distance of 10 km from Margao in South Goa District.
The main attraction of the place is the Sant Mirabai, one of the longest laterite sculptures in India. This sculpture, measuring 14 m by 5 m, depicts saint Mirabai singing in praise of Lord Krishna.
