Anamudi Shola National Park is situated at
Marayoor village in
Devikulam taluk of
Idukki District,
Kerala. Spanning an area of about 750 hectares of land, the park includes the reserve forest under Idivara Shola Reserve, Pullardi Shola Reserve and Mannavan Shola Reserve.
Declared as a national park in the year 2003, Anamudi Shola is noted for its high ecological, faunal, floral, zoological and botanic significances. The rarest varieties of plants are found here. The majestic vegetal stretch makes it an ideal location for nature lovers as well as for the phytologists. Pambadum Shola National Park and Thoovanan Waterfalls are the nearby attractions.
Anamudi Shola can be approached by road from Marayoor, which is about 40 km from Munnar.
