Anamika Kala Sangam is a non-profit cultural organization based in
Kolkata. Established in the year of 1967 by a group of artists, the Sangam is renowned for the promotion of performing arts. The Sangam has exhibited several plays, classical programs, light music, classical dance, pop programs and folk dances which have won the acclaim of critics. Sangam performs a maximum of 12 shows in a year.
In collaboration with several agencies, sangam organizes Bolshoi Ballet, the Soviet circus, battery dance and African folk dance. Youth wing, film wing, creative wing, Mahila manch (wing for the ladies) and promotional wing are the main sections in the Anamika infrastructure. Membership is also offered.
