Amethi

Amethi is a small town situated in Kheri District of Uttar Pradesh. Located to the east of Lakhimpur and Kheri, it about 4 km from Dhaurahra, 7 km from Kafara and 17 km from Gularia.

A fair organized in the premises of the Lilauti Nath Temple during Shravan and Amawasya of every month is one of the colorful events in the district.

Dudhwa National Park and Katarniaghat Sanctuary are the important tourist spots outside Amethi.

Lucknow, Shahjahanpur and Bareilly are 130 km, 126 km and 185 km respectively from Amethi. Lakhimpur Railway Station and Amausi Airport are the nearest railway station and airport.
