Amdabad

Amdabad, alternately Ahmdabad, is approximately 34 km south-east of Katihar. It is a taluk headquarters of Katihar District in Bihar.

Located at the extreme western part of Bihar, the town is close to the state's border with West Bengal.

Towns close to Amdabad are Maniharighat and Manihari. Sahibganj, nearly 21 km south, is a good destination to visit.

Patna Airport is the nearest airport.

Sahibganj Junction Railway Station, on Bhagalpur-Rampurhat rail route, serves this town.
