Ambot Tik is a slightly sour fish dish popular in
Goa. This spicy Fish Curry is made from shark or catfish with dried red chillies or peppers, cloves, garlic, ginger, peppercorns, cinnamon, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, sugar, vinegar, oil, onions, curry leaves and salt to taste. A must on the restaurant menus of Goa, Ambot Tik can also be prepared using meat.
