Ambagad Fort




Ambagad Fort is a medieval period fort situated near Tumsar in Bhandara District in Maharashtra. It was constructed by Raja Khan Pathan, the subhedar (governor) of Devgadh ruler, Bakht Buland Shah, in AD 1700. Later, it came under the possession of Raja Raghuji Bhosla of Nagpur who used it as a prison. Later it was captured by the British.

Ambagad Fort is about 13 km from Tumsar.
