Perched at an altitude of about 5,311 ft above sea level, Alipur is a small settlement in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 15 km from the district headquarters – Srinagar. Labartal is towards the west, and Wattarwain to the east. To the north of this village lies Patilbagh and to the south is Dadyun.
