Alappadamba

Alappadamba is located in Kannur District of Kerala. It lies on the Mathil-Trikkaripur Road about half km east of Swami Junction. The village is famous for the Vettakkorumakan Kshethram, a highly revered shrine dedicated to Lord Ayyappa.

Alappadamba is easily accessible by local buses from Payyanur. Payyanur Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Mangalore Airport is the nearest airport.
