Alangayam

Alangayam is a scenic village in Vellore District of Tamil Nadu. It is about 18 km south-west of Vaniyambadi.

Situated at the foot of the Yelagiri Hill, the village is linked by a ghat road with Kavalur via Javadi Hills. Vainu Bappu Observatory is a nearby attraction.

The nearest railway station is at Vaniyambadi.
