Alamagir is a historical place located near Bhingar on the Pathardi road in Ahmednagar District,
Maharashtra. It is famous as the death place of Emperor
Aurangzeb. There is a Masjid and Baradari, where meetings were conducted at the time of the emperor. The library near the masjid contains rare copies of the Quran. One of the copies was written by Aurangzeb himself.
