Aladin shop was established in 1998 at
Auroville in
Pondicherry. The shop specializes in lampshades, candlelights and various designs of lighting and hand-made items. In addition to hand-made papers, which are native to India, silk, rice and banana paper are used for the production. The wooden parts are composed of red cedar tree. Aladin exports items to more than 12 countries.
