Founded in 1981, Al-Ameen College is situated at Edathala in
Aluva, about 12 km from
Ernakulam. It is affiliated to the
Mahatma Gandhi University for awarding degree for the various courses.
The college offers graduate courses in computer science, self financing, petrochemicals, physics, taxation and economics. Biotechnology, MSC physics and MLT departments are also functioning at the college.
The college provides the entire necessary infrastructure to assist the students and faculty in their research. Apart from studies, students are encouraged to take part in extra-curricular activities such as sports day, meetings and career talks.
Aluva Railway Station and Aluva Bus Station are the major access points close to the college.
