Akula Gopaiah College of Engineering and Technology is established as a non-minority educational institution in 2001. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education,
New Delhi, and is affiliated to the
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. The college offers B.Tech courses in computer science, mechanical, electronics and communication, and electrical and electronics. Post-Graduate course in computer applications is also offered. There is a well equipped library with sufficient number of volumes of text books, reference books and technical journals. The college also offers hostel facilities for girls.
