Aknapur

The town of Aknapur is in West Bengal’s Hooghly District. It is about 3 km north of Sonatikri. Balgarh is the nearest town, situated about 2 km west. Parambo is to the north and Shamsheipur is to the east of Aknapur.

Brindabanchandra Temple, Chaitanyadev Temple, Krishna Chandra Temple, Ramachandra Temple, Bandel Church, Tarakeshwar Temple and Nandadulal Mandir are options for spiritual excursions.

Aknapur can be reached from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Kamarkundu Railway Station.
