Akal Wood Fossil Park

Akal Wood Fossil Park is 17 km from Jaisalmer and 1 km from the Barmer Road. It is a 21 hectare preserved area that transports one to the Jurassic period. It contains the fossilized remains of 180 million-year-old forests.
