Akaihata




Akaihata is a small village in Bardhaman District of West Bengal and is associated with the Gaudiya Vaishnava Sect.

Kaliya Krishnadasa, one of the 12 gopalas of Lord Nityananda, lived here. A festival, commemorates the disappearance day of Kala Krsnadasa, is celebrated on the day of Varuni during the Chithira month.

Danihata Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Katwa, an ancient town, is 6 km away.
