Agalgaon

One would come across the hamlet of Agalgaon while traveling along the state highway from Barsi to Yermala. It lies on the north-eastern border of Solapur District, which it shares with Osmanabad District. Solapur, the district headquarters, is 78 odd kilometers south-east of Agalgaon.

Maldhok Bird Sanctuary and Great Indian Bustard Wildlife Sanctuary are wildlife getaways accessible from Agalgaon. The 6th century Chambhar and Dharashiv caves and Tuljapur are other places of tourist interest around.
